Flat Roof Systems

Island Imperial Roofing can provide various flat roofing systems, repair, construction and maintenance to commercial or residential properties on the Isle of Wight.   Flat roofs are known as being problematic, with many suffering leaks. However the problems with leaking flat roofs are usually as a result of poor workmanship or deterioration of materials used.   

There are many different types of flat roof coverings – 

• mineral felt
• torch-on felt 
• GRP and Fibreglass
• EPDM single-ply membrane  

We no longer provide Traditional processes like Mineral Torch-on felt as this method is dated and no longer the most effective process, GRP (Fibreglass) or EPDM (Rubber Membrane) systems give a professional finish using a NO HEAT process which makes it safer to apply.  We can offer you:

FIRESTONE RUBBERCOVER EPDM 

is a 100% cured single-ply roofing membrane made of a synthetic rubber Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Terpolymer.   The membrane has a life expectancy of more than 50 years, even when exposed to sunlight.  

Recommended service life of 20 years from the manufacturer.

FLEXITEC 2020 SYSTEM 

is a single resin total waterproof system applied in 2 coats using fibreglass to strengthen the membrane. Covers almost any roof surface with a highly flexible single resin system and can be repaired without removal of the whole area.  

Recommended service life of 20 years from the manufacturer.
